4. Leverage the Offer Moment 

  1. Tie the background check to a conditional job offer to increase urgency and motivation.

5. Brand the Communication 

  1. Let candidates know the request will come from Credibled.


After Sending the Request

1. Send a Personalized Heads-Up

Send a quick message like: 


  1. "Hi [Candidate], you should have received a secure background check request from our trusted partner, Credibled.
  2.  Please complete it at your earliest convenience. It only takes a few minutes." 



2. Set a Clear Deadline 

  • Recommend a 24-hour completion window. 

  • Mention that delays may impact the hiring timeline. 

3. Use Reminders 

  • Send a reminder at 24 and 48 hours. 

  • If possible, follow up with a phone call after 72 hours. 

4. Address Concerns Quickly 

  • Encourage candidates to raise any concerns or technical issues right away. 

  • Offer a point of contact or redirect them to Credibled support. 

5. Monitor & Follow Up 

  • Use the Credibled dashboard to track completion status. 

  • Follow up on incomplete checks promptly.
